Waiblingen, Germany: – Advanced aseptic liquid filling and bottling specialist Rommelag Engineering will be a high profile presence at the online ACHEMA Pulse event for the pharmaceutical process industry, taking place throughout this month.

Rommelag is a long standing partner of ACHEMA and decided to participate in the Pulse event following postponement of the full physical congress until April 2022.

Virtual exhibitor and live presenter

Rommelag will have a virtual booth at ACHEMA Pulse, available online throughout the month of June (see Resources) and will make three contribution to the two Live Days, June 15 and June 16, where presentations and discussions are live streamed from three stages at a studio in Frankfurt-am-Main.

On June 15 at 0830hrs CEST (UT+2), Rommelag ENGINEERING Area Sales Managers Bastian Schellzig & Klaus Schuster will co-present a workshop on innovative packaging of liquids & semisolids, giving a basic overview on the wide range of products and applications that can be based on Blow-Fill-Seal (BFS) bottelpack technology. The session will be repeated at 1645-1730 hrs.

High capacity, compact footprint

During the second Live Day, Wednesday, June 16, Rommelag ENGINEERING Sales Director Gerhard Schramm and Product Manager Thomas Obenauer will host a presentation on Filling Vaccines with High Capacity Machines, showing how high capacity BFS machines can fill up to 33,000 one milliliter containers per hour on a relatively small footprint (1030 -1045hrs CEST).

Later the same day, Christoph Bohn, Director Pharma Service at Rommelag Service, will take part in a panel discussion, with his presentation on ‘the ideal Factory for filling liquids – easier than you expect” sharing his experiences of creating a GMP compliant and efficient layout for a BFS production.

The 37th^stACHEMA congress, originally scheduled for June 2021 has been postponed to April 2022, because of a resurgence of COIVID-19 infections in Germany. In its place, ACHEMA Pulse will offer an online forum to be held online over a full month, from May 31 to June 30, with two ‘live days’ of presentations and debate live streamed from stages in Frankfurt on June 15 and 16, with a programme structured into three distinct strands: chemistry, plant engineering, laboratory and pharmaceutical production.
