Waiblingen, Germany: – Advanced aseptic liquid filling and bottling specialist Rommelag Engineering is heading for May’s huge Interpack Trade Fair in Dusseldorf to show latest developments of its pharma industry solutions.

Rommelag Engineering, Rommelag CMO and Rommelag Flex will share Stand D38 in Hall 16 of the Dusseldorf Exhibition Grounds to present innovations such as the aseptic, fully isolated filling process or the fully automated inspection of BFS containers.

Under its “Filling your needs” banner. Rommelag Group will present live demonstrations of special solutions designed to make its filling applications easier, safer and faster to use.

CoolBFS for vaccines

These include the aseptic Blow-Fill-Seal filling process, displayed live and in 3D, to show the completely sealed parison with just one rotating mold featured on the bottelpack bp 434 machine that ensures maximum safety when filling high-value products, along with quicker and easier format changes.

Rommelag CMO, the service area that offers contract filling, will demonstrate its new method for the filling of temperature-sensitive products in its portfolio. The Cool-BFS application allows the Blow-Fill-Seal process to be applied to temperature-sensitive products, such as vaccines.

PIM – automatic particle inspection

Rommelag will also show its new particle inspection machine (PIM) that enables a 100% inline automatic check of BFS containers for particles and cosmetic defects, eliminating the need for time-consuming multiple checking steps with manual interventions.

Rommelag Flex will be demonstrating new application options for transport, storage, transferring and weighing in the field of flexible containment solutions for powders and bulk goods. These now include Flecofilm, a film approved for the pharma industry and featuring antistatic properties that increase product yields.

“Interpack may only be held every third year but it is a massively important event in our industry,” commented Rommelag Marketing Director, Andreas Häussner.

“The 2017 Fair seems set to be bigger than ever – and so will our contribution to the event with more to talk about in every area of our business,” said Mr. Häussner.
