Rommelag brings advanced vaccine packaging offers to CPhI Festival of Pharma
Waiblingen, Germany: – Advanced aseptic liquid filling and bottling specialist Rommelag Engineering will share advanced insights on use of Blow-Fill Seal (BFS) technology for aseptic media filling at the virtual CPhI Festival of Pharma over eleven days in October, replacing that month’s normal CPhI Worldwide expo, scheduled for Milan.
The CPhI Festival will take the form of a combination of online webinars and networking platforms, with Rommelag using the latter and its virtual trade booth to share its broad ranging portfolio of advanced packaging and aseptic filling capabilities.
Rommelag will also use its ‘virtual stand’ to showcase its latest bottelpack aseptic fill solutions and demonstrate how its Bottelpack and BFS technologies are highly applicable across a wide range of pharmaceutical and biotech applications that include aseptic filling, liquid filling, pharmaceutical containers, parenterals, ophthalmics, inhalations, ampoules, IV solutions and vaccines in pre-filled syringes.

Rommelag bottelpack platforms able to achieve high quality and high output cGMP aseptic liquid filling to comply with FDA and EMA standards.
“CPhI Worldwide has been one of our important yearly events to meet customers and interested companies. Since the in-person event cannot take place we want to try the virtual trade show to connect and show the portfolio of the Rommelag group,” said Rommelag Marketing Director Andreas Haeussner.

About CPhI Festival of Pharma 2020
Now in its 31st year, CPhI Worldwide is the flagship annual trade show for pharma ingredients and partner sourcing. CPhI Worldwide 2020 was originally planned as a three-day event opening October 13 at the Fiero Milano expo center in Milan, Italy, to include the co-located zoned exhibitions; ICSE Outsourcing, P-MEC Machinery and Equipment, FDF for finished dosage formulations, InnoPack for pharmaceutical packaging and events and the new BioProduction.
However, during June 2020, the CPhI events team from leading global B2B Events organizer and publisher Informa Markets decided that the global scale of the event combined with the social distancing required to combat COVID-19 required the postponement of CPhI Worldwide to autumn 2021.
To replace the Milan event, Informa will stage the 2020 CPhI Festival of Pharma as the world’s largest pharmaceutical virtual meeting, using online technologies to create a networking platform that will combine the world’s leading pharma companies, eminent speakers and extensive networking opportunities.
The Festival will open on October 5 and will run for twelve days.
The virtual event is organized by Informa with further information at: https://www.cphi.com/festival-of-pharma/en/home.html.
