Winter Park, FL: – Applied spectral knowledge company Ocean Insight has acted to maintain customer support for researchers needing applied spectral knowledge and optical sensing technologies in the global fight against the COVID-19 disease pandemic.

Manufacturing maintained

In particular, the Florida-based company has managed to keep its ISO-certified manufacturing, assembly and shipping operations fully operational, with all necessary precautions being observed to ensure employee safety.

Sales and technical support staff are now working remotely, maintaining connection and collaboration with customers via live chat, telephone, email and the Ocean Insight website, while the entire product catalog is still available to browse and purchase online.

Feasibility study opportunities

The Ocean Lab Services team is still available for feasibility testing and other services, with the company suggesting that the COVID-19 disruption presents opportunities.

“This may be an opportune time to get started on that project you’ve been putting off, or at least investigate what’s possible,” Ocean Insight tells its customers, urging them to submit Feasibility Inquiry requests (see Resources).

Joining the fight

Ocean Insight says its supply chains are strong and resilient and its shipment schedules remain intact.

The company has also expanded its web content to include a new blog, webinars and the “Insight Bites” video series, along with its monthly e-newsletter that recently marked its 100th edition.
