Attractive flexible medicine carrying solution

For patients who need to carry medication around with them during the day, the Nomad Slim pouch* provides the ideal answer, an unobtrusive flat textile refrigerated case no bigger than a touchscreen tablet sleeve that will keep medicines cool for up to two hours after being removed from the refrigerator. The Nomad Slim is provided with 2 flexible gel packs, it is the gels packs that are removed from the refrigerator, not the pouch.

For patient or carers on longer trips, the Nomad Bag* preserve medicines under temperature-controlled conditions for up to 16 hours, while travelling by road, rail or air. The Nomad Bag is available in a variety of sizes from one liter to 12L.

Larger refrigerated bags, up to 35L, meet the needs of pharmacists or other professionals who need to transport larger quantities of cool chain products during final distribution.

All bags and pouches are 100 per cent reusable for increased efficiency and reduced overall cost.

User friendly: ready in under 30 seconds

The Nomad bags do not require any complex preparation as temperatures rise, nor do they require stabilization or separate “antifreeze” accessories. The form of the bags and the materials used prevent rapid temperature rise when they are opened and also make them lightweight and easy to use.

They can be prepared in less than 30 seconds with zero risk of error. “This bag is so simple to use that the instructions for use only consist of an A5-sized cartoon-like sketch, with no need for explanatory text,” says Sofrigam Packaging Engineer Vincent Bailleul.

“Al the user needs to do is open the bag, add the cooling gel pack, load the medicines, and zip it up again. That’s it,” said Bailleul.

Certicold Pharma-certified

The French-based Cemafroid certification laboratory, international experts in cold chain and refrigeration, established this European label to certify the quality of refrigerated equipment used for carrying health products.
