NanoFiber technology gains Excellence Award for BEA Technologies

Milan, Italy: – Filtration specialist BEA Technologies has been named as one of Italy’s “Excellence” for its  contribution to development of Nanofibers in filtration in the latest Liber and RTE Awards.

The annual awards presented at the end of November by the Liber Cultural Association in partnership with publisher Riccardo Dell’Anna (RDE) names the Top 100 figures and organisations that have achieved outstanding performance in their respective fields during the year.

Leading edge nanotechnology

The award to BEA Technologies recognizes the technological leadership and innovation of its ground-breaking NanoFiber technology for enhanced filter performance for ultra-demanding pharmaceutical, biotech and food applications.

The award was accepted by BEA President and CEO, Roberto Bea, at the presentation ceremony held in the magnificent Sala della Regina (Queen’s Ballroom) of Rome’s historic Montecitorio Palace.  The ceremony, also sponsored by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, eleven Ministries, and three other institutional bodies, was formally opened by Giorgio Mulè, Vice President of Italy’s Parliamentary Chamber of Deputies.

Stories of Excellence

The ceremony featured individual presentations of the 100 ‘Stories of Excellence’ that lay behind the awards.  These were drawn from diverse fields, including industry, the economy, sciences, arts, sports, social fields, and public administration.

Following the ceremony, Mr Bea commented: “I was honoured to accept this award that recognizes the dedication and commitment of so many BEA people who have succeeded in developing this revolutionary technology and applying it across so many fields for the benefit of our clients.”

This is the latest award gained by BEA Technologies, whose innovative MAGNEXFLO high-capacity filter system was nominated by Pharma Manufacturing magazine as one of its 2021 Pharma Innovation Awards winners.
