Mikron to showcase MAIA injector assembly solution at IME ATX West California
Boudry, Switzerland: – Assembly production solutions specialist Mikron Automation is returning to the IME ATX West automation expo in Anaheim, California, with its innovative MAIA automated injector assembly solution as the centerpiece of its display.
The Mikron Automation exhibition will be at Booth 4411 of the ATX Zone at the Anaheim Convention Center. The stand will feature live demonstrations of the assembly process for complex injector medical devices handled at speed by the MAIA platform.
World first
The Mikron Team at ATX West will be led by Sales Director Bill Jaworski, who commented: “We attend the IME ATX West Expo every year. It is a great place to make connections and showcase our latest assembly solutions.”
“This will be the first time we have live demonstrated the MAIA at this event, showing its capabilities as a semi-automated platform made for a variety of injection devices including standard pen-injectors, auto injectors and safety syringes with simple, quick-change tooling,” said Mr. Jaworski.
Compact and flexible
“The introduction of Mikron MAIA shows our commitment to invest for the benefit of our North American pharmaceutical and medical device partners, offering a compact platform that meets the specialized needs of customers that require a flexible system that can quickly meet small batch demands,” he explained.
“The Mikron MAIA is safe, flexible, compact, fast, and innovative with assembly processes that can be automated to ensure repeatable and quality assembly of our customers’ combination product,” added Mr. Jaworski.
