MEGGLE Compaction Blend M – Ready to use powder mix!

Pharmaceutical excipients specialist MEGGLE now offers Compaction Blend M as a ready-to-use (RTU) powder mixture for tableting and technical applications.

Applications include technical placebo tablets, tableting demonstrations, machine and tool testing and machine cleaning.

Compact Blend M is designed to provide a fast, reliable, and efficient solution to the challenges faced by companies in the pharmaceutical and dietary supplements industries. These include economic impacts from the pandemic, increased competition or even supply chain disruptions that compel manufacturers to reduce costs and increase production efficiencies.

The new MEGGLE product Compaction Blend M offers a direct compressible ready-to-use powder mixture that eases production of trial batches (technical placebo tablets) to support validation and qualification work.

This powder mixture is also ideal for performance tests, for example to demonstrate functions of a new tablet press for clients or customers.

Compaction Blend M features

Blend M is a white, odorless, free flowing powder that is not intended for human consumption.

This ready-to-use powder is a blend of lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, aluminum oxide, and vegetable magnesium stearate.

This mixture exhibits a number of useful properties in direct compression (DC) applications. These include:

• Excellent flowability
• High tablet hardness
• High reproducibility
• Superior homogeneity
• Long shelf life (up to 36 months)
