MEDELPHARM STYL’One Evolution on show at CPhI 2016

Beynost, France: – Research-based tablet press manufacturer and powder compaction specialists MEDELPHARM will be showing the impressive capabilities of its STYL’One tableting instrument at CPhI Worldwide in Barcelona.

Visitors to the huge CPhI event will find MEDELPHARM on the Hennig Arzneimittel stand at Booth R11 in Hall 3 at Fira de Barcelona. Hennig, which is a respected German CMO and producer of generic medicines, is also a long established user of MEDELPHARM tableting machines.

Styl’One Evolution new features

The Styl’One Evolution, member of the STYL’One family of Tableting Instruments, conceived especially for R&D projects, scale-up applications and the production of small clinical batches, has now been equipped with numerous new features:

• The speed of the compression force cycles could be increased by more the 60% which enables now a precise simulation of the compression force of High-speed rotary production presses like Kilian KTP 420X and others.
• Together with a maximum output of 1000 tablets/hour, the single-punch press produces single- and multi-layer tablets and tab-in-tab (dry coating).
• The new models also provide an interchangeable die table which is in particular useful when working with abrasive powder.
• The intelligent PAT software ANALIS defines autonomously the different compression profiles for the desired tablet thickness.

Another new feature is new Powder Retrieval System which enables to recuperate easily even the smallest amount of powder when every gram counts.
