Körber rolls out Arvato CSDB Track & Trace to Asia-Pacific

Karlsruhe, Germany – Integrated life sciences solutions provider Körber Business Area Pharma has introduced a new APAC version of its innovative Arvato CSDB Track & Trace solution adapted to the needs of Asia-Pacific customers, featuring efficient serialization and aggregation services in local languages.

Arvato CSDB APAC combines regional requirements with the experience gained from numerous global projects. It allows pharmaceutical and biotech companies in the Asia-Pacific region to implement serialization and track & trace (T&T) projects via a local version of the Arvato Corporate Serialization Database solution.

Multi-level functionality

Körber Business Area Pharma consulting specialists worked in collaboration with Arvato Systems to tailor the new regionalized Arvato CSDB APAC Edition specifically to local and regional market requirements.

It encompasses T&T processes for pharmaceutical production that range from simple Level 1 serialization and batch data all the way through to full data interchange at Level 5. All levels are available as modular components and can be easily adapted to specific and changing requirements and existing IT architecture.

At level 3, the smart CSDB software manages serialization, packaging, and aggregation processes from the first two levels and communicates with parallel or supraordinate systems, such as a manufacturing execution system (MES) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. From Level 5, data exchanges take place (such as with business partners’ systems or national verification systems).

Rapid implementation

Thank to specialist expertise from of Körber, the system is designed for rapid implementation in under 30 days on average to install the system from the beginning of the integration process to the first use of the Arvato CSDB solution in production.
