Körber is now lead event partner for Pharma MES 2021 event

Karlsruhe, Germany – Integrated life sciences solutions provider Körber Business Area Pharma is lead partner for the Pharma MES 2021 event in Berlin, bringing together more than 150 key players in Manufacturing Execution System technology and implementation from the biopharma industry.

Körber will also have a partner booth at the event and will be sending a series of speakers to the hybrid conference that combines live presentations with online access. Its panel will be headed by Christian Wölbeling, Executive Industry Advisor and Senior SAM for Körber, the market leader in MES Solutions for the Life Science industries, working many of the world’s Top 30 Pharma Companies with more than 800 installations.

Conference chair

As an eminent member of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Experts (ISPE) and Chairman of its Pharma 4.0 and GAMP MES Special Interest Groups, Mr. Wölbeling will open the conference live from Berlin and deliver Closing Remarks on each of the two days.

Also representing Körber will be Zinaid Dzinovic, Director Principal Consulting & Client Advisory, an acknowledged international expert on Global Business Process Integration and MES process harmonization.

Digital Transformation

Mr. Dzinovic  will co-host a case study presentation on Digital Transformation at Vetter Pharma on the morning of Day One (Monday, September 27; 0910-0940 hrs.) and join the panel discussion on Pharma MES and Cell & Gene therapy and the potential shift towards digitalized manufacturing operations during the afternoon of Day Two (Tuesday, September 28; 1530-1615 hrs.).

Stefan Münch, Körber Business Director specializing in software development processes and data integrity will lead a ‘Validation Café’ session on using validated cloud-based MES to accelerate digitalization (Sept. 28; 1115-1500hrs), while Michael Völlinger, Business Director with Systec & Services GmbH, will lead an online workshop on ‘Dark Factory – the end of MES or MES as an enabler?’ (September  27; 1630-1730 hrs.).
