Körber highlighting its AR Pharma 4.0 solutions at COPHEX in Seoul

Karlsruhe, Germany – Integrated life sciences solutions provider Körber will bring augmented reality technology for pharmaceutical manufacturing to South Korea’s huge COPHEX pharma expo.

This is a return to COPHEX for Körber, underlining its growing presence in this important region.

Line Optimizer

The Körber stand at Booth 3B501 in Hall 3 of the KINTEX Center in Goyang, near Seoul, will showcase its very wide range of synergistic products and services, forming an entire pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging ecosystem. The display will particularly highlight the innovative Line Optimizer solution , which is part of the K. Optimizer AI family of offerings.

Line Optimizer can be used in numerous areas to optimize your production. It makes it easy for technicians or operators to maneuver on a line of machines and identify necessary actions with systematic instructions, using any browser compatible device, ideally Augmented Reality glasses such as Microsoft’s HoloLens®2 that can display 3-D holograms as virtual 3D-objects that can be manipulated by finger movements or voice commands. In addition, the Line Optimizer enables the harmonization of data and workflows, it can support operators in training, or be of use in line clearance. With all these functions, it can easily help conquering the challenges of the digital future of manufacturing.

Experiencing AR

The stand team, including, Michael Völlinger, Körber Pharma Consulting VP for Global Operations , will be able to provide visitors with an MS HoloLens device to show them how remote interventions and operations are now possible in a pharma production plant.
