Körber highlighting combined pharma software and consulting Pharma 4.0 solutions at ISPE Europe

Hamburg, Germany – Integrated life sciences solutions provider Körber will further strengthen its close links with the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE) as a prominent participant, exhibitor, and partner at the upcoming ISPE Europe Annual Conference, taking place from May 8-10, 2023 in Amsterdam.

Its exhibition stand at Booth 119 at the RAI Conference Center will showcase its leading-edge ‘Körber Ecosystem’ portfolio for the pharmaceutical industry including Software and Consulting services that allow clients to accelerate their transition to the Pharma 4.0 vision of digitally integrated manufacturing.

MES for cell & gene therapy

Werum PAS-X MES is recognized as the world’s leading manufacturing execution system for pharma, biotech and cell & gene production. The system will be on demonstration at the Körber stand, alongside advanced Pharma Consulting offerings, such as digital services, and mixed reality solutions for remote and centralized line optimization using augmented reality.

Conference contributions

Körber has become a recognized presence at ISPE events as a close collaboration partner, with multiple active members on the society’s committees, including Christian Wölbeling, Executive Industry Advisor, Körber Business Area Pharma, who has formed part of the program committee for the Amsterdam Conference.

Mr. Wölbeling will lead the industry regulatory panel discussion on Day Two (Tuesday, May 9) and contribute a presentation “Baseline Guide: ISPE Pharma 4.0”. The following day, Dr. Judith Koliwer, Principal Cell and Gene Therapy Consultant, Körber Business Area Pharma, will join Lyell COO Stephen Hill to present “The journey to a fully digital cell therapy manufacturing suite”.

The presence in Amsterdam will also include two other ISPE members: VP Validation & Qualification from Körber Pharma Stefan Münch and VP MES & Process Management Philipp Klaesle, who will lead the stand and demonstration team.

Emerging Leaders Hackathon

Ahead of the official start of the Annual Conference, the ISPE is once again organizing an international hackathon for emerging young leaders from the pharmaceutical industry on May 6-7, supported by Körber with coaches and judges. The hackathon will focus on the theme “Challenges in Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs)” and will provide participants with the opportunity to develop innovative ideas in a competitive setting, and exchange ideas with experts from the industry.
