Creation of DecBectochem signposts Dec Group expansion in India

Mumbai, India: – International powder handling and process containment leader Dec Group says its creation of DecBectochem Engineering Pvt Ltd. will enable significant expansion of its powder conveying, milling, blending and handling offers to the South Asian market.

The new entity is formed from the merger of Dec India with the Containment Division of Bectochem Consultants & Engineers Pvt. Ltd., also based in Mumbai, effective from the start of 2020.

Wider product range

The alliance brings together Dec’s world-leading technologies for bulk solids handling and process containment systems with Bectochem’s expertise as an acknowledged Indian pioneer in high containment manufacturing, offering customized isolator solutions that span the manufacturing range.

It will allow Dec to strengthen its position in the Indian market and offer a wider product range, while the expanded operations platform will allow the new company to launch new technologies in the field of powder milling, blending and handling.

One-stop solution provider

DecBectochem will operate in India as a single source provider meeting the whole range of powder handling and high containment manufacturing needs.

The combined force of the two entities will also give DecBectochem a larger service and sales footprint across the country and Southeast Asia, with access to Dec’s wide range of technologies and a state-of-the-art manufacturing setup within India.

Solids processing & micronizing excellence

DecBectochem will setup a solids processing & micronizing excellence testing, demonstration and training center in Ankleshwar in Gujarat that will showcase latest technologies from the Dec Group.

The center will allow customers and partners to test and witness the impressive results achieved using, for example, the patented MC DecJet® micronizing family or the unique and innovative PTS Batchmixer®.

As well as conducting demonstrations, the new center will also be used to offer technical support and practical training for client staffs.
