Monchy-le-Preux, France: – Cool chain packaging specialist Sofrigam will be a prominent presence at October’s Cold Chain Global Forum in Boston, North America’s biggest event for the temperature controlled logistics industry.
Sofrigam is both a sponsor of the event and prominent exhibitor, with ‘Stand Sofrigam’ showcasing a wide range of the company’s many insulated shipping and temperature controlled packaging solutions for the pharma and biotech industries, ranging from to compact pouches to the XXL Pallet Shipper optimized for palleted air cargo, revolutionizing cold chain logistics.
A star of the show will be Sofrigam’s new iBox cold chain packaging solution, making its North American debut in Boston. The iBox is a new generation high technology semi-active container that combines an autonomous temperature-controlled container, independent of power supplies, with thermal regulation technology to maintain products at between +2 and +8°C whatever the outside temperature.
Sofrigam has specifically designed iBox to lower overall total cost of ownership (TCO) in the pharmaceutical cold chain by making it robust, with a service life of at least three years, and reusable supporting rental applications.
Stand Sofrigam will also exhibit a new insulated pouch designed for patients to transport their heat sensitive medicines from the pharmacy or the hospital to their home.
