Delft, The Netherlands: – Dutch-based upstream bioprocess equipment specialist Applikon Biotechnology B.V. (Applikon) will be bringing its significant advances and new solutions to three leading events in the USA, including the international debut for a significant new product.

During August and September, Applikon will be exhibiting at the SIMB Annual Meeting in Chicago, along with the Bioprocessing Summit and BioProcess International, both in Boston.

At all three events Applikon will be showcasing a range of its advanced management and software solutions along with process and monitoring technologies.

SIMB Annual Meeting

At the five-day Society for Industrial Microbiology and Biotechnology (SIMB) meeting, opening August 12 at the Chicago Hilton, Applikon will be at booth 41 with a display featuring its lab-scale cultivation systems, process analytics and advanced automation tools which bring optimal solutions to increase and enhance laboratory applications and to generate scalable results.

Bioprocessing Summit, Boston

At the Bioprocessing Summit, another five day event opening a week later on August 13 at the Sheraton, Boston, MA (USA), Applikon will be exhibiting from Booth 601, this time focusing on its cell culture and bioprocessing portfolio. Here, Applikon will be showing its innovations for the upstream bioprocesses, like the lab-scale bioreactors that bring cost reductions, along with the unique BioSep cell retention device for high-density perfusion processes, and software automation and process analytics technologies.

BioProcess International product introduction

Applikon will return to Boston in the first week of September for the four-day BioProcess International expo opening September 4 at the city’s Hynes Convention Center.

Exhibiting from Booth 821, the display focus at BioProcess International will be on upstream cultivation systems, with a significant new product introduction promised.

Another star of the display will be the Lucullus PIMS Process Information Management System, a single software solution designed to manage all bioprocess functions and instrumentation. Also on display will be Applikon’s Discovery V based software solutions V-Control, ez2-Control for autoclavables and my-Control for miniBio applications.

Scalability and efficiency

At all three events, Applikon will be able to provide live demonstrations of products on demand.

“These events provide us with great opportunities to show our product portfolio, reaching a wide range of industrial biotech companies concerned with efficiency, reduced costs at lab-scale and scalability from lab to production,” said International Sales & Marketing Director Erik Kakes.
