Applikon Biotechnology showing AppliFlex ST and MiniBio at ESACT-UK meeting

Delft, The Netherlands: – Dutch-based upstream bioprocess equipment specialist Applikon Biotechnology B.V. (Applikon) will showcase leading edge bioreactor solutions including AppliFlex ST and miniBio at the upcoming annual meeting of the UK arm of the European Society for Animal Cell Technology (ESACT-UK) in the New Year.

3D printed customizable and scalable stirred tank single-use bioreactor

The AppliFlex ST solution uses 3D printing technology to provide a head plate that is uniquely configured to each individual process, including custom impeller design, and different sample port connections.

The Applikon display will also feature the miniBio desktop sized bioreactor that scales down the classic laboratory scale bioreactor with the same versatility and flexibility that allow it to be customized to fit the demands of any cell culture or gene therapy process.

Both solutions will be shown powered up and operational.
