Zenatek bringing ZTS real time tracking revolution to SMI conference in Milan

Monte Carlo, Monaco: – International IT solutions provider Zenatek will showcase its revolutionary Zenatek Tracking System (ZTS) and Zenatek Tracking Device (ZTD) solutions at the upcoming Shipping, Forwarding & Logistics meet Industry (SMI) conference in Milan.

Zenatek CEO and President Ennio Zanotti and Project Manager Andrea Gregori will represent the company at the event, held at the Assolombarda headquarters in Milan. They will use video to show how the ZTD tracking device and supporting networked infrastructure can be applied to time-critical and temperature sensitive high value shipments that include pharmaceutical and biotech products.

End-to-end tracking

“This is our first attendance at this recently established event,” noted Ennio Zanotti.

“We believe the Shipping meets Industry event provides us with an excellent opportunity to develop new business and show how ZTS with its capability to provide a continuous and fully documented end-to-end tracking and audit as well as real time location and alerts can transform the security and reliability of temperature-sensitive shipping,” he explained.

Ensuring compliance

“This is a system of critical relevance to quality, logistics and commercial managers of shipping industries concerned with recording all forwarding activities and ensuring temperature and humidity compliance across the whole cool chain as well as identifying supply chain chokepoints and any adverse events,” said Andrea Gregori.

“ZTS not one tracks temperature and humidity, notifying the user in real time of any temperature excursions, but also monitors physical security by detecting door openings along with collisions or tilting,” said Mr. Gregori.

The GPS-based tracking system allows users to see geographical progress along the journey, combined with a server-based IT network that allows relevant documents to virtually accompany the consignment, accessible online.

The Zenatek team will be distributing a DVD presentation explaining the many features of the ZTS system and the disposable ZTD device.

About SMI 2020

The Shipping, Forwarding & Logistics meet Industry (SMI) event was first held in Milan in February 2018. The summit is concerned to strengthen Italy’s port systems as well as inland operations in providing more reliable and effective logistics services.

The second SMI conference is a two-day event opening January 31, again at the Milan headquarters of Assolombarda, the regional enterprise association. It will involve decision makers and solutions providers from the worlds of shipping, freight forwarding and logistics.

The event is organised by the Shipping Meets Industry task group, involving representation from Confetra (Confederazione Generale Italiana dei Transporti e della Logistica), Alsea (Associazione Lombards Spedizioneri Autotransportatori) and the International Propeller Club.
