Watlow® partners with Spain’s AEQT chemical association

St. Louis, Missouri, USA: – World-leading advanced thermal management solutions provider Watlow® has announced that it has reached a collaboration agreement with Spanish-based Asociación Empresarial Química de Tarragona (AEQT) as a New Business Partner.

The new alliance signifies a mutual commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in the industrial chemistry sector and reflects a shared vision that promotes innovation and the advancement of industry standards.

Mutual sustainability aims

Watlow®, founded in 1922, has a long and in the development and delivery of innovative thermal solutions used by many of the world’s leading companies. AEQT was established in 1977 to represent the chemical sector of Camp de Tarragona and Terres de l’Ebre, which is the biggest one in Southern Europe. Currently, the AEQT has 33 member companies, based in Tarragona and its environs. The Association’s mission is to generate shared agreements between companies and the environment, to enhance the competitiveness of Tarragona’s chemical industry through a new circular and decarbonized model and to contribute to the safe and sustainable development of the territory.

Partnership program

The collaboration agreement makes Watlow® a member of AEQT’s Business Partners program for companies working directly with the chemical sector, offering them opportunities to present their products and activities in the heart of Camp de Tarragona’s chemical sector. The program provides a standardized procedure for networking and exploring synergies between AEQT members and supplier companies.
