Watlow at FarmaForum Madrid – Digital Engineered Solutions for Environmental Monitoring Systems
St. Louis, Missouri, USA – World-leading advanced thermal management solutions providers Eurotherm by Watlow® will showcase its advanced digitally engineered environmental monitoring (EMS) and laboratory data management solutions at Spain’s leading event for the pharmaceutical, biotech, and laboratory sectors, the annual Farmaforum in Madrid.
A centerpiece display of the Watlow® stand at Booth K47 in Hall 9 of the huge IFEMA Feria Madrid convention center will be the Digital Engineered Solution (DES) platform that meets Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS), Industry 4.0 digital integration and smart laboratory needs.
Hands-on with DES for EMS
The platform adopts industry best practices, being designed to aid compliance to FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EudraLex Annex 11, and Good Practice guidelines.
It is based on a scalable architecture, from an entry-level single room architecture based on Eurotherm self-contained recorders, to a high availability enterprise-level network that features redundant instrumentation, virtualized servers, cybersecure networks, and Store and Forward technology.
Watlow® will be able to stage live demos of the system on stand that let visitors get hands-on with the technology.
Future-proof Laboratories Solution
The stand will also stage live demonstrations of the solution developed by Watlow® and Eurotherm for simplifying data integrity in the laboratory for both data and metadata, meticulously designed to meet relevant regulations and to integrate with Industry 4.0 protocols for futureproofing.
The Smart Lab Solution provides the sustainable operational flexibility and scalability needed to meet the needs of various laboratory environments. The embedded data analytics capabilities allow for comprehensive data insights, further enhancing laboratory efficiency and performance (ML/AI).
It delivers real-time and historical data analysis with alarms, tamper-proof and secure data recording, and an embedded audit trail, for the highest standards of data integrity. With robust security management and user access controls, the system meets GAMP5 qualification and Namur compliance, for easier regulatory compliance.
