Sustainable Labs EMS solution on show at ContaminExpo Paris

St. Louis, Missouri, USA: – The Eurotherm division of world-leading advanced thermal management solutions provider Watlow® will present its smart Environmental Monitoring Solutions (EMS) technology at the upcoming ContaminExpo contamination control and cleanrooms event in Paris.

The Eurotherm stand at Booth E46 in Hall 2.2 of the Paris Porte de Versailles expo center will showcase the Eurotherm by Watlow® Digital Engineered Solutions (DES) for EMS as an innovative and sustainable solution for laboratories.

Data integrity

The solution helps labs reduce costs, move to Industry 4.0 integration, and achieve compliance with latest data integrity and data security regulations, such as to FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EudraLex Annex 11, and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines.

The Eurotherm team at the ContaminExpo 2025 exhibition and conference comprises EMS & LAB Digital Engineered Solutions Manager Mara Polloni and the French-based Digital Engineered Solutions EMS Architect and Pre-Sales Solution Engineer Damien Denoyer together with the Life Sciences Business Development Manager Loïc Renault.

Together, the team will host demonstrations allowing visitors to go ‘hands on’ with the DES for EMS technology to show how it provides a sustainable workspace, offering operational flexibility and scalability to meet the varying needs of different laboratory environments.

Scalable architecture

At the same time the solution simplifies data integrity for both data and metadata, being meticulously designed to meet relevant regulations, including real-time and historical data analysis with alarms, tamper-proof and secure data recording, and an embedded audit trail, for the highest standards of data integrity.

DES for EMS is based on an architecture that is scalable from room level, starting with Eurotherm self-contained recorders, to a high availability, enterprise-wide network including redundant instrumentation, virtualized servers, cybersecure networks, and Store and Forward technology.

With robust security management and user access controls, the Eurotherm system meets GAMP5 qualification and Namur compliance, for easier regulatory compliance. The embedded data analytics capabilities allow for comprehensive data insights, further enhancing laboratory efficiency and performance (ML/AI).
