Sofrigam highlights Coldway autonomous refrigeration as 21st century delivery solution

Rueil Malmaison, France: – Temperature-controlled logistics and pharmaceutical cold chain packaging specialist Sofrigam S.A. has released a video showing how its Coldway autonomous refrigeration technology can form an integral part of 21st century eco-friendly temperature-controlled delivery solutions.

The video, viewable on YouTube (see Resources), highlights the many advantages of the Coldway refrigeration technology.

Zero carbon

Coldway autonomous refrigeration delivers zero noise and CO₂ emissions, adaptability to a wide range of two, three and four wheel vehicles and just over six hour charge cycle for temperature control from -18°C to 25°C for up to 12 hours.

The system also uses Near Field Communication (NFC) technology for real time temperature checks.

Coldway integration

Coldway solutions have been integrated into the Sofrigam product portfolio from shipping to storage, including the active refrigerated Coldway Inside Technology rollaway cabinet, a very durable cold chain solution.

The rollaway cabinet is fully self-contained and 100% green, with zero noise and carbon emissions and maintenance-free. The cabinet will maintain pharma products at between 0 and +25°C for up to 24 hours, even in extreme conditions.

Self-contained active solution

Coldway Inside Technology was featured as part of the Sofrigam display at January’s 19th annual Temperature Controlled Logistics conference (TCL 20) in Dusseldorf.
