Nordic BioSite returns to Biomarker AGORA networking event

Täby, Sweden: – Scandinavia’s leading supplier of validated biotechnology products, Nordic BioSite (BioSite), will once again exhibit at the Biomarker AGORA conference in Copenhagen, on the 1st November 2017.

The BioSite stand in the exhibition area at the University of Copenhagen (Frederiksberg Campus) will feature a wide range of the company’s impressive portfolio of research-based molecular biology products.

Laboratory Services & Reagents

The display will focus particularly on the services provided by BioSite’s GLP certified laboratory, BioSiteHisto. The team will present illustrated examples of BioSiteHisto’s lab competencies within immunohistochemistry. They will also present antibodies, including custom antibodies, as well as assay kits and reagents for nucleic acid preservation and isolation, PCR, and NGS applications.

Danish Area Manager, Dr. Ulla Helt Laursen, and Sales Representative Dr. Karen O’Hanlon Cohrt will lead the BioSite presence at this event.

Supporting Innovation

“We are reaching out in particular to start-ups companies and up and coming companies who attend the AGORA event, and who are highly likely to be interested in outsourcing laboratory services to a GLP compliant provider,” Dr. Helt Laursen explained.

About BioMarker AGORA 2017

Biomarker AGORA is an annual networking meeting held in Copenhagen that gives researchers from universities and companies as well as patient organizations an opportunity to present their latest research and projects.

The objective is to share knowledge, get inspired and potentially establish new relationships and collaborations between exhibitors and visitors.

The event encompasses activities within health care and life sciences with particular focus on biomarkers, personalized medicine, drug development, ICT and user experience.

BioMarker AGORA 2017 is a one-day event held on 1st November at the University of Copenhagen’s Frederiksberg Campus.

The event will feature 77 exhibitors displaying their specific project or company as well as numerous keynote addresses, and workshop sessions on ICT and Behavioral (Bio)markers for Mental Health.
