MEGGLE to highlight InhaLac® dry powder inhalation qualities at Excipient World 2024

Wasserburg, Germany: – Pharmaceutical lactose specialist MEGGLE will be a prominent presence at the 2024 Excipient World meeting in Florida, with a presentation of the strengths of its lactose-based InhaLac^® range for dry powder inhaler (DPI) applications.

MEGGLE will be represented at the meeting by its American distributor Barentz US, who will exhibit from Booth 103 in the Exhibition Zone at the  Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Kissimmee, near Orlando. MEGGLE USA Director, Lew Jackson, will join the Barentz stand team.

Pulmonary Excipient applications 

Barentz will also contribute to the conference agenda, with their Technical & Development Manager Mary Tanenbaum and Global Technical and Marketing Director Paul Woodcock giving a Day Two presentation on ‘The Evolution of The Role of Excipients In Pulmonary Drug Delivery’ (May 14, 0945-1005 hrs., Exhibit Hall Stage 1).

The presentation will review the developments in pulmonary drug delivery in recent years and show what challenges remain and where further research is needed. The talk will particularly focus on the qualities required of excipients such as MEGGLE’s InhaLac® to optimize drug delivery while making them environmentally and patient friendly.
