Overview

Nordic BioSite is now an authorized supplier of products from ImmunoStar, the original equipment manufacturer of a variety of polyclonal and monoclonal primary antibodies.

These are used in the detection of a wide variety of biological markers, including Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, epilepsy and brain seizures, schizophrenia, Lou Gehrig’s and Huntington’s disease.

ImmunoStar is dedicated to quality control testing, which it performs in-house. This ensures that only reliable antibodies and peptide controls with lot-to-lot consistency are offered.

ImmunoStar’s immunohistochemical products are used in the detection of a wide variety of biological markers, including Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s abnormalities, epilepsy and brain seizures, schizophrenia, Lou Gehrig’s disease, and Huntington’s disease.

In addition, the products are used in research with opiate receptors that have the potential to improve treatments for conditions ranging from alcoholism to rheumatoid arthritis.

ImmunoStar’s products are widely used in by researchers at major universities, hospitals, corporations and other institutions.

The antibodies offered by ImmunoStar also include the histochemical product line formerly owned by DiaSorin and sold under the name IncStar. Diasorin is a leading medical diagnostic company focused on the development and manufacturing of clinical in-vitro diagnostic products.
