Formpipe strengthens its position in the Life Science industry and acquires UK GXP Limited

Formpipe market leaders in Information Technology within the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences industry have expanded their company by acquiring GXPi.

GXPI, based in Nottingham in the UK, are a software solutions company who have developed their own quality management system on X-docs™, they are fully compliant to many standards across the world, and have successfully delivered their solutions internationally to over 300 clients plus they have worked with many of the leading names in the Life Science sectors.

CEO and President of Formpipe Christian Sudin says of this acquisition “This is one more building block in enabling Formpipe to become even stronger within Life Science industry, we at Formpipe have been evaluating our growth within the Life Sciences industry and believe that by obtaining GXPI, we can internationally expand the interest in our bespoke product the Platina QMS.”

The acquisition which took place on 1st July 2014, see all 11 of GXPi’s staff merge with the current Formpipe life sciences department, this department will be headed up by Keith Williams, CEO of GXPi and incoming business manager for Formpipe Life Sciences’ division, and the man who founded GXPi in 1999, he is bringing over 20 years of experience in the Life Sciences industry to Formpipe.
