EnviroWater Group creates Pharma Board to focus on life sciences water treatments
Rossdorf, Germany: –EnviroWater Group, the parent company of advanced water treatment specialist EnviroChemie GmbH (EnviroChemie), has created a specific Pharma Board to focus strategy and products on the particular needs of the life sciences industries.
The new board will bring together the distinctive pharmaceutical expertise of EnviroChemie with that of fellow EnviroWater Group member companies Letzner & Werner, now brought together as EnviroFALK PharmaWaterSystems.
Strategic pharma focus
For many years, the various companies of the EnviroWater Group have had distinctive expertise in the pharmaceutical industry and have repeatedly been able to execute successful projects for life sciences companies and organizations. The addition of the EnviroFALK companies has added further noteworthy strengths to round off the group’s pharma product portfolio.
The Group board has therefore decided that the EnviroWater Group will strategically position itself in the pharmaceutical market with its expertise and competence in finding advanced and modular solutions. In order to make this focus visible to the market and maximize on existing potential, the EnviroWater Group will break new ground in terms of internal cooperation and focused management by creating a Pharma board specifically for the joint development of the pharmaceutical market.
Innovations and initiatives
The Pharma Board represents managers from the various Group companies. Currently these are: Eva Bitter and Elmar Billenkamp from EnviroChemie, Volker Luh (EnviroDTS), Ulrich Träger (formerly Werner GmbH) and Thomas Rücker (formerly Letzner GmbH). Mr. Rücker also chairs the board, reporting directly to EnviroFALK Managing Director Peter Leyendecker.
The company-wide pharmaceutical board will focus on complete solutions from process and ultra-pure water treatment, pure steam supply, storage and distribution systems to wastewater treatment. Currently existing product and service offerings will be supplemented by additional innovations and initiatives, also in the context of joint R&D projects that are intended to make a sustainable and measurable contribution to group growth and profits within reasonable time.
Pharma expertise
The EnviroWater Group is thus positioning itself strategically in the dynamically growing pharmaceutical market with its specialized expertise and competence in finding water treatment solutions. The new board bundles knowledge and provides new direction.
“The pharmaceutical market is considered a dynamic market with a positive growth forecast. We share the assessment of many market participants that this trend will continue in the future and will even be strengthened by the Covid-19 pandemic,” said a group statement.
Peter Leyendecker commented: “By bundling extensive market and use knowledge, the team will provide additional impulses for development within the group of companies. Beyond that, the successful implementation of a targeted marketing strategy will significantly and sustainably strengthen our growth and profitability.”
Thomas Rücker added: “The pharmaceutical industry is a rapidly growing and promising market. With our company-wide team of experts we will further expand our customer base and strengthen our competitiveness.”
