EnviroChemie WaterExpert smartphone app

Water treatment experts EnviroChemie have developed a PC and mobile application designed to provide water and wastewater treatment plant operators with an easy-to-access overview of plant status and quick access to important data.

The WaterExpert app is designed to make treatment plant operation easier by putting all the key knowledge in one place and in the palm of the hand.

Operational support for water treatment plants

Launched in spring 2020, the new WaterExpert app monitors operation and supports the maintenance and management of water treatment plant operating systems.

WaterExpert combines real-time data monitoring, alert management and virtual plant inspection rounds, as well as knowledge, maintenance and plant management.

Users can set up remote access to the plant’s sub-systems if required. This will allow information retrieval on the plant’s status from any location with internet connectivity and at any time to optimise plant operation easily and efficiently.

Flexibility and adaptability

The WaterExpert plant operation app can be precisely configured to users’ requirements. The app supports a wide range of tasks, including:

• Remote process data monitoring
• Process data archiving and trend analysis
• Digitising routine plant inspection rounds
• Setting up tailored alerts and messages with detailed instructions for remedial actions
• Plant and maintenance management with direct links to processes
• Improving knowledge transfer and reducing knowledge loss
• Automating recurring paperwork/routine work.

Multi-platform compatibility

EnviroChemie water experts have developed the app for water experts. It is optimised for Apple iOS and Android mobile devices. As a web-based application, it will also run on PC and Mac desktop and laptop computers.

The WaterExpert application has been tested by TÜV SÜD and its industrial hardware platform tools are certified to ISO 27001.

Supporting hardware employs industrial strength security for its cloud connectivity platform to ensure industry-level security.
