EnviCheck® for pioneering sustainability water recycling project

Rossdorf, Germany: – Leading water treatment specialist EnviroChemie has applied its EnviCheck® monitoring and analysis service to enable an Austrian-based energy producer and environmental service provider to optimize its use of wastewater.

The Austrian company has for several years been operating a chemical-physical treatment plant that purifies wastewater generated by flue gas treatment. Use of EnviCheck technology will now allow this treatment to become more efficient and resource-intensive, reducing operating costs.

Analysis and inspection

The EnviCheck system is designed to extract maximum potential from a water treatment plant, using data analysis and physical inspection of the equipment involved.

EnviroChemie EnviCheck inspectors examine the treatment processes involved, evaluate chemical and material consumption, and analyze the data to compare plant efficiency against baseline comparative values.

Optimization options

Using technologies based in its laboratories and Rossdorf Technology Centre, EnviroChemie can then determine revised treatment parameters for the customer, providing a menu of possible optimization options. These can include changed adjustment parameters for the existing plant, changes to more powerful water chemicals or updated plant technology.
