EcoVadis award recognizes sustainability achievements

Prata di Pordenone (PN), Italy: – Leading pharma process equipment supplier LAST Technology S.r.l. has received an EcoVadis Silver Medal from the world’s most widely respected environmental performance rating organization.

The Silver Medal award from EcoVadis recognizes LAST Technology’s ’achievements in environmental sustainability over the past year, including drastic increases in energy efficiency and far-reaching commitments in workplace inclusion and diversity.

Emissions halved

The Silver Medal rating places LAST Technology among the top 15% of companies worldwide that have been assessed by EcoVadis in their latest awards announced in February 2025.

Recent advances that have boosted the company’s environmental performance ‘score’ have included a halving of emissions between 2022 and 2024 thanks to energy efficiencies and the installation of a 515 kWh photovoltaic solar generation system; a commitment to becoming carbon neutral by 2030; and active promotion of an inclusive and stimulating work environment, that values the talent and creativity of every employee.

Sustainable values

In 2016, LAST Technology adopted a corporate Sustainability Policy closely aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with a focus on reducing environmental impact and promoting corporate social responsibility.

Even before this, however, the company’s founding business model was based on creation of shared long-tern value for multiple stakeholders, with designs that recognize every stage of the product life cycle.
