DisiTest 50 Machine

The DisiTest 50 machine is fully designed for tablet disintegration testing. The DisiTest 50 machine automatically calculates the disintegration time of tablets and capsules in full accordance with current Pharmacopeia. The testing technique employed by the DisiTest 50 does not necessitate an operator to visually monitor the disintegration process. Induction heating technology is utilised by the DisiTest 50 to lower heating times to only 3-5 minutes and increases efficiency by eliminating inefficient cleaning times that are usually associated with standard water bath based systems. Temperature control with the DisiTest 50 is precise and consistent because the heating process is conducted inside the beaker as opposed to applying heat the exterior. A contact-free infrared sensor is used to continuously monitor the test medium temperature which is recorded for reporting purposes.

The testing process is made easier by the DisiTest 50 due to the easy handling of the machine. The DisiTest 50 machine is easy to clean and baskets can be replaced within seconds. The baskets are wireless and do not have any cables. The baskets are self-centering with a magnetic coupling and are safeguarded against corrosion. The DisiTest 50 machine can be controlled through the use of a well-designed and easy-to-use touch screen. The touch screen displays information such as the temperature and time, type of basket and disintegration status of each tube. The touch screen can also be used to print statistical reports.
