Dec Group launches new hi-tech ATEX DecPharm® hose
Ecublens, Switzerland: – Pharma materials handling and process solutions leader Dec Group (Dec) has collaborated with hose specialist Markert Group to jointly develop a hi-tech hose suited to the most demanding applications.
The new DecPharm® hose was co-developed by Markert and Dec engineers to achieve the best fit for the requirements of the pharmaceutical industry and will be available exclusively in equipment engineered by the Dec Group.
Unique construction
DecPharm is unique in using a white EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) external cover that offers excellent material resistance along with clean pharma aesthetics with a reinforced multi-layer construction that ensures increased durability and long service life.
The internal white liner offers high chemical resistance guaranteeing high impact strength and smooth construction.
ATEX and regulatory compliance
These combined properties make the DecPharm hose highly suitable to handling challenging materials, such as inflammable or potentially explosive substances in ATEX zones.
The hose is manufactured according to current industry standards such as FDA, EG 1935/2004, EU 10/2011, and EN 12115.
