Cerbios-Pharma makes debut at 10th Anniversary HPAPI Summit

Lugano, Switzerland: – Pharmaceutical ingredient specialist CDMO Cerbios-Pharma SA (Cerbios) will make its debut appearance at the 10^th Anniversary HPAPI Summit, held as an online event for 2021.

Cerbios will have its own dedicated virtual Demo Area for the event, to be staffed by Chief Commercial Officer Denis Angioletti and Pharma Senior Consultant Charlie Johnson, who will also use the Hanson Wade event’s proprietary networking platform to reach out to existing and potential partners.

cGMP HPAPI development 

The Demo Booth team and content will highlight Cerbios-Pharma’s almost 30 years’ experience in the cGMP handling of contract development and manufacturing of HPAPIs from early stage development, through clinical trials to commercial supply, seeking to add ‘Value through Innovation’ at every step.

In practice, this means designing efficient synthetic routes, applying Design of Experiment (DoE) and Quality by Design(QbD) approaches to development of New Chemical Entity (NCE) and advanced intermediates, providing a comprehensive CMC service to support all aspects of the development, registration and commercial manufacturing of target molecules.

New HPAPI facility

The event team will also be able to provide preliminary details of Cerbios-Pharma’s new large scale HPAPI facility, due to come on stream to coincide with the HPAPI /Summit.

They will also represent the activities of the PROVEO alliance in end-to-end ADC development manufacturing, now managed as a business division of Cerbios-Pharma.

First staged in 2011, the HPAPI Summit is dedicated to knowledge sharing and best practice in the challenges of safe handling High Potency Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (HPAPIs), covering the latest containment, industrial hygiene, EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) challenges and outsourcing developments.
