ARCOMPETENCE showcase at Vitafoods 2016

Herdecke, Germany: – European leader in soft gel encapsulation, A.R.C.O.- Chemie GmbH (ARCO®) will be displaying its recently introduced ARCOMPETENCE® range of products at the prestige Vitafoods trade show in Geneva in May.

ARCOMPETENCE has been developed as a one-stop shop for all ARCO-Chemie’s added-value range of soft gelatin capsule formulations for delivery of drugs, dietetic products and nutritional supplements.

Scientific statements

It now provides a comprehensive range of gel capsule formulations targeting specific therapeutic areas like cardiovascular, urinary tract, musculoskeletal, mental function, vision, mother and infant, and energy.

The ARC0 stand at Booth I60 in Hall 1 of the Palexpo Center in Geneva will showcase selected products from the huge ARCOMPETENCE range of nutritional and therapeutic supplements, marketed as Standard Range capsules along with upmarket Supreme Products offerings that package high quality branded ingredients in all-inclusive formulations backed by scientific statements and evidence.

Nutritional and pharmaceutical markets

ARCOMPETENCE Products will also feature in the official Event Guide, with newest additions to the range exhibited in the Vitafoods “New Product Zone.”

This is a return to Vitafoods for ARCO, which has been a regular exhibitor at the event since 2009.

“This is a great platform for us to reach our customer base in the nutritional and pharmaceutical markets,” commented ARCO General Manager Konstantinos Zacharopoulos.

A.R.C.O.-Chemie is a contract manufacturing organization (CMO) that specializes in the production of pharmaceutical and nutraceutical soft gelatin capsules.

This family-owned company has for the past 60 years focused on production of soft gels for delivery of drugs, dietetic products and nutritional supplements for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical applications, which includes all processes from sourcing of raw materials to packaging of finished product.

ARCO-manufactured soft gels are used in many applications, including cardiovascular function, mobility, energy, digestion, mental health, maternity and pediatrics.

In 1984, the company was taken over by the current owner, Mr. Georgios Zacharopoulos. Since then, progressive expansion has seen ARCO gaining a series of WHO-GMP approvals and key plant upgrades to meet current GMP and other regulatory standards.
