Herdecke, Germany: – A.R.C.O.- Chemie GmbH (ARCO®) has developed a range of soft gelatin capsules under its ARCOMPETENCE® brand for delivery of drugs, dietetic products and nutritional supplements in the therapeutic area of Mental Health or brain function.

ARCOMPETENCE Mental Health products include well-established organic extracts and compounds from three ranges:

Mental Basic: a range of capsules containing basic mental health formulations including: DHA/EPA fish oil /Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Fish oil /Ginkgo biloba/Tocopherol/Lecithin, Soyalecithin/Soy bean oil and Lecithin /Topcopherol.

Mental Plus: Enhanced Standard Range capsules containing a comprehensive formulation including Lecithin, Gingko biloba and five vitamins.

Mental Complex: ARCO Supreme Products capsules, containing a superior formulation of 11 high quality branded ingredients, supported by scientific evidence.

European Food Safety Agency (EFSA) statements and scientific evidence support each of these ingredients:

EFSA has established that DHA helps maintain normal brain function and vision, that Vitamin C contributes to normal nervous system function and can reduce tiredness and fatigue, that iron aids cognitive function and that Vitamin B5 supports normal mental performance.

There is also scientific evidence (not evaluated by regulatory authorities but proved in clinical studies) that 200 mg daily supplement of Cereboost™ improves working memory, supports attention, increases cognitive performance and healthy cognitive function.

ARCOMPETENCE Standard Range Mental Health capsules

The ARCO Standard Range comprises five different capsule products from Mental Basic and Mental Plus ranges.

Mental Plus range

Mental Plus capsules contain a formulation of nine ingredients designed to deliver a 100 per cent EC-recommended daily allowance of iron, iodine, Vitamins E, B1, B5, B6 and B12 plus Lecithin and Gingko biloba.

Mental Basic range

Mental Basic capsules: 545 mg Fish oil 1050 TG delivering 54 mg EPA and 250 mg DHA plus 5 mg of Vitamin E-rich RRR-α-Tocopherol- concentrate (67%).
Mental capsules: 545 mg 1050 TG plus 50 mg Ginkgo biloba extract and 15 mg Tocopherol.
Lecithin capsules: 500 mg Soyalecithin plus 100 mg Soy bean oil.
Lecithin – Vitamin Ecapsules: 1000 mg Soyalecithin, 185 mg Soy bean oil and 15 mg Tocopherol- concentrate.
