UGA Biopharma to present fast-track cell line development at virtual CPhI Festival

Hennigsdorf, Germany: UGA Biopharma GmbH, the specialist contract developer of biologic and biosimilar cell lines, will participate in the virtual CPhI Festival of Pharma over eleven days in October, replacing that month’s normal CPhI Worldwide expo, scheduled for Milan.

The CPhI Festival will take the form of a combination of online webinars and networking platforms, with UGA using the latter to find new customers and partner companies among the sizeable community interested in high performance cell lines with titers from 4 to 7 g/L for the production of biologics.

Accelerated biologics production

UGA will use the session to showcase its fast track Cell Line Development service for biologics and biosimilars, accompanied by its proprietary First CHOice® cell culture media and feeds, which can be used to boost the production of for example therapeutic antibodies, bispecific antibodies, fusion proteins, enzymes and hormones.

UGA CEO Dr. Lars Kober and Business Development Manager Dr. Marcel Nowak will be available throughout the festival to explain key differentiations and advantages for high titer production, quality, fast timelines, high biosimilarity, traceability and UGA’s proven track record.

About CPhI Festival of Pharma 2020

Now in its 31^st year, CPhI Worldwide is the flagship annual trade show for pharma ingredients and partner sourcing. To replace the Milan event, Informa will stage the 2020 CPhI Festival of Pharma as the world’s largest pharmaceutical virtual meeting, using online technologies to create a networking platform that will combine the world’s leading pharma companies, eminent speakers and extensive networking opportunities.
