Laupheim, Germany: Full-service biopharmaceutical Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) Rentschler Biotechnologie GmbH will bring its expertise in mammalian cell culture and related biopharmaceutical solutions to the landmark BIO International Convention in San Diego later this month.

This is a return to BIO International for Rentschler, which will exhibit at Booth 1929 in Hall C at the San Diego Convention Center, along with strategic partners Leukocare AG and Rentschler Fill Solutions.

“BIO International provides a great platform to represent Rentschler’s solutions for bioprocess development and manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals,” said Rentschler Biotechnologie Senior Director Company Communications, Dr. Marion Schrader. “It is also a great forum in which to present the recently announced strategic Alliance with Leukocare AG as well as the strategic Partnership with Rentschler Fill Solutions GmbH.” said Dr. Schrader.

Creating competitive advantages for clients with best-in-class formulations

The Alliance between Rentschler Biotechnologie GmbH and Leukocare AG strategically aims to incorporate formulation development at every step throughout biopharmaceutical development and manufacturing. Leukocare is the specialized technology partner and exclusive formulation developer for Rentschler’s biopharmaceutical business. Working closely with the client, this will ensure that the end products will – from the very beginning – have a best-in-class formulation and administration mode. This innovative approach will provide clients significant competitive advantages, enabling them to exploit the full potential of their products and markets.

One-stop solutions with new state-of-the-art fill and finish facilities

The strategic partnership of Rentschler Biotechnologie GmbH and Rentschler Fill Solutions GmbH provides clients with one-stop solutions for biopharmaceutical products and unites two centers of excellence for the fast and efficient bioprocess development, manufacturing and filling of biopharmaceuticals with the Rentschler commitment to quality. Both companies are owned by the Rentschler family, which has been a trusted and successful partner in the pharmaceutical industry for five generations.
