Protek Cargo offers a full line of insulating solutions for airfreight, ground, intermodal, and ocean transport, supporting shipments from single pallets to full containers.

Its SureTemp® product lines are widely adopted throughout global pharmaceutical cold-chain logistics and include:

• Thermal Pallet Covers: Robust, reliable covers that minimize temperature excursions and maintain cold-chain integrity for both LTL and air shipments.
• Container Blankets: An efficient and dependable method for insulating full truckload (FTL) over-the-road shipments.
• Transoceanic Container Liners: Foil-based liners fitted to standard dry ocean containers to create a passive thermal barrier that protects against radiant heat, “container rain,” and cargo sweat.
• Premium Box Liners: Single- or double-wrapped liners providing short-term protection for parcel shipments exposed to brief periods of extreme temperatures. Protek’s newly developed aluminum mono-plastic PET delivers maximum radiant-heat protection while remaining fully recyclable.
• Insulating Rolls: Manufactured in Italy, these single or double-bubble or multilayer metallized film rolls offer both padding and thermal protection for carton contents. Available up to 2.7 m wide and 100 m long, as well as in custom-cut dimensions.

All SureTemp® products are designed and manufactured in-house using engineered materials researched specifically to provide protection against radiant, convective, and conductive heat transfer in both hot and cold conditions.

Company History and Structure

Protek Cargo was founded in 1994 in California’s wine-growing Napa Valley, originally focused on developing superior thermal protection for wine shipments. Its data-driven, customer-centric approach supported rapid expansion into the pharmaceutical, biotech, food, and specialty-goods sectors.

Protek Cargo Srl, the Italian subsidiary based in Verona, was established in 2017. It is now one of four global Protek manufacturing sites, alongside facilities in Australia, Vietnam, and the United States.
