Vert-Le-Petit, France: – Intermediates and active ingredients specialist CMO Isochem will be present at key events in Germany and the USA during March showcasing its latest product, Vitamin E TPGS excipient, and supporting its custom manufacturing offer for pharmaceutical companies worldwide.

Teams form Isochem will be present at next month’s prestige DCAT Week industry show in New York City, immediately followed by the German Drug Delivery & formulation (DDF) Summit in Berlin.

At the DDF Summit, Isochem will be presenting a highly innovative product, Vitamin E TPGS that provides an attractive excipient for innovative drug delivery. At DCAT Week, the company’s primary focus will be on its bespoke pharmaceutical cGMP production capabilities summarized in its new strapline ‘Isochem: Your Partner For Smart Custom Manufacturing’.

TPGS solubility improvement

Tocopheryl polyethylene glycol succinate (TPGS) is natural Vitamin E derivative, non-ionic surfactant that provides an attractive tool for solubility improvement, for stabilizing micro emulsions and for building nanoparticles in drug formulation.

“Isochem has become a key producer and supplier of Vitamin E TPGS, offering top level service by delivering cGMP product from research quantities to multi-tons for commercial phase,” explained Vice President Sales & Business Development, Amélie Arbore, who will once again lead the company’s DCAT team in New York.

Custom synthesis

“We believe most of the people we meet in New York will be primarily interested in our custom manufacturing capabilities that now include full cGMP production facilities, route selection, process and analytical development and process optimization from laboratory scale to full production, as well as delivery of safe implementation of hazardous reactions and versatile chemistry,” said Ms. Arbore.

Isochem will also be presenting newly developed offers on development projects, made possible by recent expansion of its teams and capabilities in R&D and project management.

The past 24 months have seen Isochem enjoy increasing productivity gained from its strategy of refocusing on its pharma portfolio, in particular custom synthesis, catalog products, generic APIs and excipients.

About DCAT Week

The Drug, Chemical & Associated Technologies Association (DCAT), founded in 1890, has become North America’s premier business development association for companies that manufacture, distribute or provide services to the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.

DCAT represents the entire spectrum of the pharmaceutical industry—from pharmaceutical, API, and excipient sales and manufacturing to distribution, support technologies and packaging products and services.

Attended by thousands of industry professionals, DCAT Week® and the DCAT Annual Dinner, held each March in New York City, are considered one of the pharma industry’s premier events.

DCAT Week 2017 will take place over four days from March 20 to March 23. Renovation at Waldorf Astoria has meant that the event’s traditional headquarters is unavailable this year, with activities shared between seven other downtown hotels including the Lotte New York Palace, Omni Berkshire Place, 48LEX, Benjamin and InterContinental Barclay, with the 91st DCAT Annual Dinner held in the Grand Ballroom of the New York Hilton on Thursday, March 23.

The event is organized by DCAT with more information at: https://www.dcat.org/
