Harro Höfliger to unveil ‘future of capsule filling’ at interpack 2014

Allmersbachim Tal near Stuttgart, Germany: – Innovative pharmaceutical production and process specialist Harro Höfliger will use May’s interpack 2014 Trade Fair in Düsseldorf to take the wraps off its leading-edge Modu-C High Speed production machine for filling hard capsules.
Hailed as ‘the future of capsule filling’, the new Modu-C HS design focuses on ultra precision, easy operator control, rapid format changes and very simple cleaning. The new machine is capable of processing up to 200,000 capsules per hour and boasts several industry-leading features and innovations, including a patented trolley system that allows for quick and easy dosing system changeovers as well as integration of vision sensor system for ultra-precise control of smallest quantities of filling media.
Harro Höfliger say the launch will be supported by a highly immersive audio-visual visitor experience on their stand B15 in Hall 16 at the Düsseldorf Fairground during the triennial interpack event from May 8 to May 14. Furthermore Harro Höfliger will present a wide range of technology solutions for the pharmaceutical, medical and packaging market.

“It will also provide us with the platform to show our innovation power of which Modu-C High Speed is just the latest example. We are daring our visitors to take a glimpse into the future and experience a new dimension when they visit our stand,” he said.

About interpack 2014
The Interpack Trade Fair, held every three years in Düsseldorf, Germany, is one of the world’s leading events for the packaging industry and related process technologies. This year’s event will take place on May 8-14.
Organisers Messe Düsseldorf say interpack 2014 is already sold out, with all available spaces in the 19 halls at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Center fully booked. This repeats the success of the previous Interpack fair in 2011, which attracted 2,703 exhibitors from 60 countries and more than 165,000 visitors representing pharmaceutical, cosmetics and other industries ranging from food and beverages to industrial goods and related services.
For 2014, Interpack will feature an extensive supporting programme with a new Components event, a Metal Packaging Plaza and the world Save Food Congress, organised in co-operation with the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation to highlight issues global food loss and food waste.
Overall, about 1,100 of the roughly 2,700 exhibitors will be showing solutions aimed at the pharmaceutical industry.
