Grabs, Switzerland: – Toploading parenteral and secondary packaging specialist Dividella has introduced its latest toploading cartoner machine, the NeoTOP 1604, to close the circle of high speed outputs with flexible production.

NeoTOP 1604 meets pharmaceutical market demands for a product-flexible packaging machine that can handle multiple packaging sizes and formats from single products to 100-packs while maintaining output levels of up to 160 packs per minute.

    Adaptable system

The machine’s modular, expandable construction and the wide range of available NeoTOP infeed systems for products and booklets also make it possible to use the single system to process a large number of packaging variants.

Like the other members of the NeoTOP family, the NeoTOP 1604 uses Dividella’s patented Topload process, where the products are automatically inserted into the secondary packaging from above with extreme care.

The use of flat monomaterials and the compact external dimensions of the secondary packs ensure a sustainable packaging concept and reduce pharmaceutical manufacturers’ logistic costs.

    Track and Trace

In order to meet regulatory requirements, the NeoTOP 1604 also offers integrated solutions for tamper evidence, child safety and Track & Trace functions.

“With the NeoTOP 1604, we are now able to offer our customers a solution that copes with the ever growing range of secondary packaging for pharma and biotech products as well as keeping in mind the overall efficiency of the packaging process,” commented Dividella Marketing Manager Marta Berger.
