B Medical Systems signals North American expansion with new Indiana business base

B Medical Systems, a Luxembourg-based pioneering manufacturer of medical devices, has opened a new subsidiary in Indiana, signalling expansion of its business in North America.

“The establishment of B Medical Systems in North America follows the growing expansion of our company worldwide,” said Luc Provost, CEO at B Medical Systems.

The new 10,000sq ft facility at Noblesville includes a warehouse and offices for the new B Medical Systems US nationwide team, which will enable the company to serve the needs of American pharma companies, laboratories and research institutes with greater speed.

Key logistics and life sciences location

The new center will be the base for a newly set up US sales and technical support team, including a Head of North American Sales and Area Sales Managers, all seasoned life sciences and biotech professionals.

The new Indiana facility will allow the company to keep ready stocks of medical equipment instantly available for the USA, with a particular focus on blood management and medical refrigeration needs for the life sciences and biotechnology communities.

The establishment happens at a time when the world is battling against the coronavirus and preparing for the fast and efficient distribution of the vaccines.

“In the last quarter, we observed a surge in the demand for our refrigerators, freezers, and cold boxes to store medications, transport test specimens, and process convalescent plasma,” Mr. Khajooei said.
