MEDELPHARM teams with Kilian and Budenheim for CPhI 2015

Beynost, France: – Research-based tablet press manufacturer and powder compaction specialists MEDELPHARM will team with two other companies to show combined capabilities at CPhI 2015 in Madrid.

MEDELPHARM and its Romaco Kilian Group Distributor, Kilian Tableting GmbH, will team with Budenheim, a reputable German producer of superior Phosphate excipients for solid oral dosage forms to cover a wide range of functions involved in processing and tableting excipients.

STYL’One in action

Visitors to the Budenheim stand at Booth D50 in Hall 7 at Madrid’s IFEMA Center will be able to see latest MEDELPHARM technology in action in the shape of the latest STYL’ONE Evolution servo-mechanical compaction simulator, processing Budenheim’s phosphate-derived excipients.

STYL’One is a versatile press that covers the whole range of applications from early formulation of API to high speed multilayered formulation scale-up, at speeds of up to 300.000 tablets per hour. Combining the flexibility and multilayer capacity of the classic STYL’One with the speed and simulation function of the STYLCAM to provide a real R&D “tableting robot” that can automatically explore design parameters while analyzing formulas with utmost efficiency.

Combined processes

There will also be a chance to meet MEDELPHARM’s International Sales & Business Development Director, Ingrid Coyle and Vitor Antunes, Area Sales Manager Spain and South-America for Romaco Kilian, Medelpharm’s world-wide distributor for their R&D tablet presses.
