HO smart vial transfer system is designed for reliability, functionality and easy cleaning, incorporating HOF plant sensor technology that enables fast detection of individual objects.

The latest sensor technology is made of stainless steel, shaped for high functionality and optimal cleaning and sterilization. Reliability in production is further enhanced by allowing ‘on the fly’ tool-free sensor replacement without having to change product positions.

All machine parts in the classified ‘clean’ area have been tested for hygienic design, emphasizing  largest possible radii, selection of materials and easy disassembly for cleaning.

Shorter changeover times

The HOF VTS series is designed for shortest possible changeover times with varying vial sizes through a simplified functional design of the format parts. All format parts are made distinctive to avoid confusion with bottleneck guides used at key points to increase production safety. Format parts ae also designed to allow gloved exchange in a cRABS or insulator.

Flexible control technology and intuitive user guidance

Future control of HOF loading and unloading systems will focus on the new possibilities offered by the Siemens TIA (Totally Integrated Automation) Portal, a user interface specially designed for clean room application, increasing flexibility and guaranteeing state-of-the-art, needs-based technical solutions.

HOF has standardized  on new control panels offering intuitive operator guidance via touchscreen, permanently assigned function keys or a combination of both. Wide viewing angle displays ensure an optimal overview of all plant conditions.
