Hoofddorp, The Netherlands: – Strategic life sciences consultancy Progress Executive Services (Progress-EXS) is sponsoring the Investors Forum of the upcoming Dutch Life Sciences (DLS) Conference in Oegstgeest, The Netherlands.

The Investors Forum will provide young companies and start-ups with the opportunity to pitch for equity capital or partnerships with companies and institutes across the life sciences value chain, from biotech, med tech and pharma companies to financiers and universities.

Gateway to investors

The forum will form a centerpiece of the upcoming DLS conference on November 28, providing platform for entrepreneurs from industry and academia to business strategy, technology direction and capital-raising plan to venture capitalists, corporate/regional investment funds as well as representatives from university Technology Transfer departments.

Prior to the event, companies will be invited to participate in a number of dry-run presentations to gain feedback and get advice. The winning presentation will be rewarded with the Progress Investors Forum Prize; a ticket for a national or international partnering event with a total value of EUR 2,500. This will provide a gateway for the winners to reach the strategic audience of their choice anywhere in the world.

About Dutch Life Science Conference 2019

The Dutch Life Sciences Conference is an annual meeting hosted by Leiden Bio Science Park in The Netherlands that aims to stimulate discussions and interactions between business executives, R&D specialists, policy makers and investors from the, focusing on trends and developments in the domestic and international life sciences sectors.

Themed ‘Accelerating change in healthcare’ the 15th DLS meeting is a one-day event on November 28, 2019, staged at the CORPUS Congress Centre in Oegstgeest, near Leiden.

The programme will feature numerous plenary and parallel sessions, with speakers including astronaut Dr. André Kuipers, Frame Therapeutics CEO Ronald Plasterk, MiLabs CEO and founder Prof. Freek Beekman, and Bedrocan CEO Tjalling Erkelens).

Hoofddorp, The Netherlands: – Progress Executive Services (Progress-EXS), a key partner for executives within Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical industries, has successfully delivered a feasibility study for a new-build Fill & Finish pharmaceutical plant in Slovakia.

The new plant will provide advanced aseptic fill & finish facilities for start-up generics producer CMO Floul Pharmaceuticals near Bratislava.

Multi-level collaboration

The feasibility study was the result of a three-way collaboration between different stakeholders.

In addition to the end-client Floul Pharmaceuticals, the Progress-EXS consulting team was also working with Dutch-based architectural firm KuiperCompagnons and engineers from Progress-EXS parent firm Progress Project Management & Engineering (Progress-PME).

Bringing the vision alive

Hoofddorp, The Netherlands: – High-level pharmaceutical, healthcare and life sciences consultancy Progress Executive Services (Progress-EXS) is to host a networking event on accessibility to new drugs.

The event will be held on September 13 at the state-of the-art Biotech Training Facility (BTF) at Leiden in The Netherlands.

Progress-EXS is organizing the event for high level C-suite decision makers in life sciences, pharma and biotech companies to discuss improving accessibility to leading-edge drugs and vaccines, particularly for developing markets.

Dr. Pierre Morgon of MRGN

The event will include a presentation from Dr. Pierre A. Morgon, founder and CEO of Geneva-based MRGN Advisors, which was established in 2015 to advise CEOs, supervisory boards and investors on portfolio strategy, commercial and market access development, partnering and investment advisory in pharma, biologicals, vaccines, med tech and healthcare IT.

Dr. Morgon has more than 30 years of experience in the global life science industry, especially with specialty care, vaccines and immunotherapy, at the helm of international operations, in C-level positions at global level in multinational corporations and as CEO of start-up companies.

Kwasi Amfo of CEPI

The meeting will also hear from Kwasi Amfo representing CEPI, the Norwegian-headquartered global partnership working to accelerate the development of vaccines against emerging infectious diseases. The organization was launched at the 2017 Davos conference to bring together public, private, philanthropic, and civil society organisations to enable more equitable access to vaccines in developing nations.
