B Medical Systems’ Medical Transport Boxes
B Medical Systems offers a range of robust and effective medical-grade transport boxes for the safe and secure transport of temperature-sensitive clinical and laboratory specimens between operating sites.
These MT Medical Transport Boxes all feature robust construction for intensive operations even in remote locations, as well as effective insulation to best protect sample integrity even in extreme ambient temperatures. Moreover, these transport systems are designed to comply with regulations for transport of hazardous goods by road, rail, sea or air.
MT Medical Transport Box Range
The MT range of transport boxes consists of five passive transport systems that use highly effective insulation to maintain the right temperatures. These units use Phase Change Materials to maintain the various intended temperature ranges (-32°C/+4°C/+22°C/+37°C). Furthermore, the range also includes an active transport box which uses its own actively powered cooling system.
All the boxes offer high physical protection against shock and crushing, using high-quality indestructible polyethylene shells which are also designed for simple stacking. Moreover, B Medical Systems offers lifetime warranties against corrosion on its medical transport boxes. Temperature stability over lengthy journeys is assured by eco-friendly insulation and passive cooling technology systems, and an attached data logger for full traceability can be installed if required.
User friendly features include shoulder straps on smaller models for easy carrying, and the possibility for simple cleaning using conventional disinfectants.
All B Medical Systems’ transport boxes are certificated as EU MDR Class IIa medical devices. Moreover, all passive MT models conform with the European agreement on the international transport of hazardous goods by Road (ADR), by Rail (RID), by Sea (IMDG) and with the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organisation and International Agreement for Air Transport (ICAO-TI / IATA-DGR).
Passive transport boxes rely on highly effective insulation and passive cooling technology systems to keep samples within temperature limits and can be equipped with optional Phase Change Materials to maintain temperatures as low as -32°C, with +4°C, +22°C and +37°C PCM options also available.
The passive transport box range includes boxes with gross volumes ranging from 2.2L to 44L.
Active Medical Transport Box
The MT model range also includes the MT100 model that uses an actively-powered compressor, allowing it to maintain low temperatures between +4°C and +22°C indefinitely wherever 220-240V power is available. The product also comes with a DC battery.
This transport solution is equipped with handles and wheels for easy mobility, and offers a gross volume of 90L. It also comes with lockable sealing clasps for access control, a digital temperature display and a remote alarm system for real-time monitoring of the internal temperature.
