Sofrigam Make First Steps into US Market

Sofrigam, the specialist designer and manufacturer of insulated and refrigerated packaging for the pharmaceutical industry, has shown commitment to expanding into new territories by attending two of the largest trade shows across Europe and USA.

As part of its concerted effort to expand into new territories, Sofrigam was the offical sponsor at the Cold Chain & Temperature Management Global Forum. The 10th annual global event, organised by IQPC was held in Chicago on 26th-27th September. During the show, Sofrigam exhibited its top products; the Pallet Shipper XXL, its range of VIP cooling packs and its new packaging ranges; Clinbox, temperature-controlled containers designed for the transport of clinical trials and the Nomad and cooling bags for the transport health products and patients. In addition, Sofrigam’s US Vice President, Chris Day took to the stage and lead the conference on 26th September with a talk entitled, From Pallet Shipper to Logistics Tool: Total cost Analysis of Bulk Shippers.

In October, the company exhibited at the US organized conference, PDA Pharmaceutical Cold Chain Management & Good Distribution Practice in Berlin. During the two day event, Sofrigam welcomed visitors to its stand and presented its insulated packaging solutions for the transport of pharmaceutical products under temperature controlled conditions.

Both shows have proved a success for Sofrigam and they will look to take part in further events throughout the US. Christopher Day, vice president said “By taking part in these specialist trade shows, we are able to reach new markets and establish new relationships.
