Gaillac, France: – Highly innovative process experts Pierre Fabre Medicament Supercritical Fluids Division will exhibit its breakthrough technologies at the landmark ICSE outsourcing event in Madrid, part of the huge CPhI Worldwide 2015 expo.

The Supercritical Fluids department will be represented at the Pierre Fabre Group CDMO Stand at Booth 3J20 in Hall 3 at Madrid’s IFEMA as part of the ICSE show.

The Supercritical Fluids display at ICSE is adapted to feature the company’s pre-formulation services for API, including the highly innovative Formulplex that improves solubility of API as well as enhancing bioavailability along with Formuldisp stable solid dispersion for improved excipient functionality and Formulcoat taste-masking.

Late last year, Supercritical Fluids posted details of a new process leading to significant energy savings on production of the western world’s most popular painkiller, ibuprofen.

The ICSE team will include Bernard Freiss, Head of Supercritical Fluids department, and Hubert Lochard, Supercritical Fluids Project Manager.

“We are regular exhibitors at the event, which connects the pharmaceutical community with outsourcing solution providers. CPhI Worldwide / ICSE is the world’s largest exhibition for global pharmaceutical ingredients, fine chemicals, excipients and intermediates – all core areas for Supercritical Fluids division,” commented Bernard Freiss.

“Regarding our Supercritical Fluids Department, people can meet us on the Pierre Fabre CDMO stand to see how our services can meet their need in term of development of poorly soluble API, reformulation of already marketed APIs and more besides,” said Mr. Freiss.

The team will be reaching out to R&D managers, business development and formulation experts for whom process efficiency and effectiveness and cGMP compliance are critical issues.

“We’ll also be showing ways for clients to transfer their whole process into Supercritical Fluids state of the art facilities to optimize production and carry out demanding cGMP manufacture in batches,” he added.
