Pharma Giant DSM Orders Formpipe’s Platina for Quality Management

Stockholm, Sweden: – Leading pharma IT provider Formpipe has signed a large contract to supply its groundbreaking Platina QMS (electronic quality management system) to the global life sciences company DSM.

Dutch-based DSM is active in health, nutrition and materials with more than 23,000 employees worldwide. DSM Pharmaceutical Products,which provides custom contract manufacturing and development services to the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and agrochemical industries, will use Platina QMS, to manage and streamline quality processes and quality documentation at its CMO operations in Holland.

Formpipe partner Sigmahelped to broker the deal and will be the principal provider in an overall service agreement that includes options for additional licenses for further DSM sites and operations.

Breakthrough
Formpipe President and CEO, Christian Sundin, commented: “The deal is a breakthrough in the European Life Science market.”
