ISOCHEM Signs New Multi-Million Long-term Supply Agreement

Vert Le Petit, France: – The New Year has started well for ISOCHEM S.A.S., which has just signed a long term supply agreement valued at more than €13 million for the manufacture of a custom-made chemical specialty used for the production of a technical polymer.

This agreement is linked to an investment of €1.5m on ISOCHEM’s manufacturing site at Pont de Claix, near Grenoble.

ISOCHEM says the winning of this valuable order validates the French-based contract manufacturer’s current strategy of pursuing GMP compliant processes and upscaling its specialist production facilities.

Late last year, ISOCHEM announced it had successfully expanded the processes for its recently acquired UK subsidiary Wychem, which provides a large range of specialist aromatic compounds that require diazotation, bromination and iodination reactions. ISOCHEM has successfully also scaled-up processes in its French GMP/FDA approved units to supply the increasing needs of customers for these specific halogenated aryl compounds.
